※The Company continues to track GHG emissions, water consumption, and total waste weight. Data for 2024 is still under verification as of the annual report publication date.

Company Energy-saving Policies & Measures

Energy-saving Design

  1. Air Conditioning: The main unit is configured seasonally with appropriate chilled water outlet temperatures, and indoor unit temperatures are set to maintain indoor temperatures between 26–28°C. Automatic controls are used to schedule the main and indoor units, reducing air conditioning power consumption.
  2. Lighting: Energy-efficient lighting (consuming half the electricity of conventional fluorescent lights) is used to reduce lighting power consumption. Area-based light switches ensure only the required zones are lit, achieving energy savings.

Energy-saving Measures

  1. The company is located near public transportation hubs, making it easy for employees to commute by MRT for work and business meetings, reducing private vehicle use and thereby lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
  2. Video conferencing software is provided to encourage employees to conduct meetings with clients and vendors online, improving efficiency and reducing business travel, thereby lowering transportation usage and greenhouse gas emissions.
  3. Environmentally certified paper is used to reduce the harm of deforestation, indirectly mitigating the greenhouse effect.
  4. Eco-certified cleaning products are used to reduce harm to the environment and water resources.
  5. When procuring equipment, products with energy-efficiency labels are prioritized to achieve energy savings during use.
  6. Hand dryers are used instead of paper towels to reduce single-use paper consumption.

Resource Recycling & Reuse

  1. Recyclable waste: Sorted and placed in recycling bins, then collected by cleaning staff and handed to recycling companies for detailed sorting and transport, achieving reuse while reducing waste and environmental harm.
  2. Waste paper: Collected and stored centrally, then periodically collected by waste paper recyclers, mixed back into paper pulp to produce cardboard boxes for reuse, reducing the consumption of virgin pulp.

Community Care

Dream on Court – Sports Equality Project

  • Total Implemented Resource Value

By integrating professional coaching resources and standard venues, this project has invested a total of NT$ 100,300 in social value resources, transforming every contribution into a substantial force that supports children in pursuing their dreams.

  • Total Professional Service Hours

Through the professional guidance of our coaching team, we have accumulated 85 hours of high-quality training. This not only hones athletic skills but also empowers children to build self-confidence and grow through mentorship.

  • Project Features

We reject "one-off" activities, instead committing to "consistent weekly local engagement" and a unique "no-quota-limit sponsorship mechanism." By removing barriers, we create a stable and inclusive environment for sports education.

  • Local Connection and Community Integration

Deeply rooted in Hsinchu and extending to remote areas, we use basketball as a medium to connect children and families from diverse backgrounds. This is more than just a resource injection; it is a dedicated effort to enhance local community participation and connection, making the basketball court a vital hub for fostering community spirit and breaking down social barriers.

The “Dream on Court – Sports Equality Initiative” is dedicated to bridging the gap between urban and rural areas and across economic divides, making true sports equality a reality.
Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 4, and 10), we firmly believe that access to sports resources should not be limited by geography or financial means. Through our “Coaches into Rural Communities” program and “non-discriminatory public welfare funding,” we defend every child’s right to pursue their dreams. Rather than one-off events, we are committed to establishing a long-term training mechanism in underserved areas.
Since October 2025, professional coaches have been deployed weekly to campuses for three-hour formal training sessions. This sustained, in-depth coaching not only improves basketball skills but also cultivates team discipline and self-confidence, producing meaningful behavioral change. For children from disadvantaged backgrounds, we have moved beyond the traditional fixed-quota funding model, adopting an open, “motivation-driven” application system with no enrollment cap. As long as a child shows enthusiasm, financial circumstances should never be a barrier. Following assessment, we provide full sponsorship for participation in two-hour weekend courses. Since the program launched, one high-potential student has maintained a perfect attendance record — a clear testament to the program’s effectiveness in building grit and perseverance in children.
For rural areas with limited access to sports resources, we reject superficial one-time events and instead establish a long-term, structured training framework, bringing a formal coaching system into schools.
  • Implementation:Starting October 2025, professional coaches are dispatched weekly for formal 3 hour training sessions.
  • Qualitative Impact:。The weekly high-intensity coaching and mentorship not only enhances children’s basketball skills but, more importantly, builds team discipline and self-confidence. Compared to short-term camps, continuous three-hour deep-training sessions produce genuine behavioral change.
We have broken away from the traditional “fixed-quota” charitable funding model, adopting a “motivation-driven” open application system. As long as a child wants to play basketball, finances should never stand in the way.
  • Mechanism:Disadvantaged students who demonstrate a strong passion for basketball are evaluated by coaches for learning motivation, and are then sponsored to participate in two-hour weekend basketball courses. There is no enrollment cap — no child with a dream is turned away.
  • Outcomes:The program currently provides long-term sponsorship for one high-potential student. From October 2025 to the present, this student has never missed a session — a powerful demonstration of the program’s effectiveness in cultivating perseverance.

The Company will continue to focus on the development of the Jiangong Neighborhood community, seeking deeper cooperation to leverage corporate resources for long-term positive impact on the community environment and residents’ quality of life.
The Company is committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by enhancing environmental quality through community cleaning activities, promoting residents’ health, and strengthening ties between the company and the local community. In 2024, the Company organized a community cleanup in Jiangong Neighborhood, taking concrete action to improve local sanitation.
The Jiangong Neighborhood covers residential areas, schools, parks, and some commercial zones, with a population of approximately 3,400. The area includes major commuter roads and public spaces used by over 1,500 people daily, making it an important activity area for residents and visitors. The Company organized corporate volunteers and community residents to participate in environmental cleanup of public spaces and main streets, covering community parks, sports courts, main sidewalks, and roadside areas. To ensure the effectiveness of the cleanup, the Company provided cleaning supplies including brooms, gloves, and eco-friendly trash bags, and set up appropriate waste sorting guides to help improve community environmental management.
A total of 21 volunteers participated in this activity, including company employees, Jiangong Neighborhood residents, and employees’ family members.

Charity Activities

  • Internal Goods Exchange Activity

Attracted over 90% of employees, exchanging 70 items in total, reducing waste and improving resource reuse rates.
  • Charitable Organization Support Program

Collected 12 items, distributed through local agencies to 6 beneficiaries, spreading Christmas care and warmth.
  • Company Additional Investment

Totaling NTD 21,000, supporting charitable organizations to expand their reach.
The Company actively promotes employee participation in Christmas charity activities, strongly encouraging staff to support sustainable development and social welfare through concrete actions. This year, the Company expanded its efforts to two employee-level initiatives: first, promoting second-hand goods exchange among employees to advocate environmental protection and resource recycling; second, supporting external charitable organizations to make Christmas not only warm but also socially meaningful.
The Company launched an internal “Christmas Second-hand Exchange Day,” encouraging employees to bring unused but still usable items — such as books, household goods, toys, or clothing — and find new owners through an exchange mechanism, reducing waste and extending the lifespan of items. The venue featured a classified exchange area and offered “exchange points,” allowing employees to interact and engage while obtaining new items, reinforcing the company’s sharing culture and environmental awareness.
In partnership with external charitable organizations, the Company launched a “Christmas Gift Collection Program” targeting vulnerable social groups. Employees donated new or well-preserved items — such as warm clothing, school supplies, toys, or food packages — which were distributed through partner organizations to families and children in need. The Company also provided additional dedicated funding to charitable organizations to ensure donated resources could be used more effectively to help more people enjoy a warm Christmas.
Through this dual internal-external approach, the Company not only practiced the concept of sustainable management, but also deepened the bond between the company and the community, making Christmas charity activities an important moment for everyone inside and outside the company to participate together, sharing love and warmth.
